Ewald Summation

Because of the long-range nature of the Stokeslet $ \bm{J}$, we cannot take a simple cut-off model under the periodic boundary condition. As in the electrostatic interactions in solid state physics and molecular dynamics, we should take Ewald summation technique.

In the Stokes flows, there are mainly two formulations exist: Hasimoto's formulation[12] and Beenakker's formulation[3].
